Okay, I guess I should be posting more often, but I had a hectic weekend. The plane took off at 6:30 friday morning for the job interview in Alabama and the return plane landed in Philly at 11:30pm, so counting the drive to/from the airport, I was gone 18 hours on friday for a one hour long interview. But it went well, so I might be moving to Alabama. I also have a job interview scheduled nearby tomorrow and there's another local company who is interested in interview me, but due to the one manager being out of town, the headhunter hasn't been able to schedule an interview with me.
I finally saw Spider-man 3 last night. It wasn't as good as the second one, but mainly because it dragged in places and they went even further with the cgi action sequences. I always found that a weakness in the previous movies. It's like when an action sequence starts, the movie switches from being a real-life movie to a cartoon. I think I'd rather have action sequences with less action and use more stuntmen and real stunts. Overall, I give it a worth full price admission rating, but it doesn't reach pay for multiple viewings level.
I met with my parents over the weekend in Atlantic City. The trip started off well, but I ended up losing a bunch of money. I swear this one blackjack dealer went 10 straight hands without busting once. This weekend, I also was in my first movie. I'll have to talk about that later.
And this whole myspace thing is interesting. I'm getting contacted by people I haven't heard from in years. I also had a sudden realization today that someone who I had always been friendly with, but haven't seen in about six months, denied my friends request. But on the positive note, I'm up to 28 friends, and I'm not accepting spam friends and friends I don't know. So the 28 friends are either people I actually know or musicians/tvshows/comedians I am big fans of.
