A bunch of NFL teams made it into the playoffs with 8-8 records. In interviews, I've heard coaches and players of those teams say that their regular season record might have not been that good, but all teams have the same record now: 0-0. This annoyed me for some reason and I just realized why. It's not true! Four teams, Pittsburgh, New England, Philadelphia and Atlanta, have earned byes for the first week of the season. They don't have to win a game to make it to the second week. So, essentially, they start the playoffs 1-0.
