I reserved my first trip on a train today. I'm driving back to Pittsburgh this weekend, but when I go back for Thanksgiving, I'm taking a train. For not much more than the cost to drive, less even if you consider wear & tear on the car, I won't have to worry about driving in bad weather or getting caught in traffic due to construction or car accident. I can sit in a seat, watch dvds, read books and enjoy complimentary beverages. Also, unlike when I take a plane, I don't have to deal with security guards who see my last name and "randomly" choose to search through my baggage.
